About The Institute

Ophthalmic Institute offers job and career training in eye doctor equipment servicing and repair. The expertise and education we provide is unlike any other career training programs offered in the field in the United States. About Our Courses

Our series of courses aim to give you hands on training, ophthalmic office visits and access to technicians actively working in the field for any questions and assistance you need. You will get an overview of equipment in a working environment and you will be performing service on real equipment. We feel it is important to get tactile experience performing the work you will be doing under the close supervision of an instructor. The piece of equipment that will be the core of each course will differ but the focus on gaining experience while working on real equipment will remain the same.

After your course is complete, you will have ongoing Ophthalmic Institute support and resources pertaining to your course. This includes access to the training technician for problems with odd or unusual pieces of equipment, pre-designed marketing to get you started in your area and a growing library of online resources such as video refresher tutorials. When you complete your course we want to make sure we provide you every opportunity to succeed.
